This began as a random application of paint and ink splatter, which made me see either a pregnant woman or a fat Chinese man, and since I had done works of my sons' mother I decided the adventure lay in China. He grew and grew till he took over my life for six months, not on this drawing, but I became obsessed with drawing fat, dancing 'Chinamen' in crotchless g-strings.
